4:30 – 5:00 PM | Welcome & Spotlight on the Justice for Fraud Victims Project

Opening remarks and introduction to the Justice for Fraud Victims Project (JFVP), including its mission, goals, and opportunities for students and professionals to participate in the local project.

5:00 – 5:30 PM | Keynote: Innovation in the Fight Against Fraud

An inspiring presentation from a young leader at the intersection of technology, innovation, and fraud prevention.

5:30 – 6:15 PM | Crypto Tracing Practical Bootcamp

A hands-on introduction to practical cryptocurrency tracing techniques and the role of digital-asset analysis in fraud investigations.

About the Instructor:

Kamal Hubbard holds a Juris Doctor and is certified in Fraud Examination, Cybersecurity, and Decentralized Finance. He spent several years at Stanford University’s Rock Center for Corporate Governance, where he managed research focused on federal securities litigation and global corruption.

Kamal is the founder, director, and advisor to multiple blockchain initiatives, including the AltMarket Cryptocurrency Exchange and CageChain Media Group. He has testified on cryptocurrency matters before the California Senate Banking Committee and served as a member of the Blockchain Advocacy Coalition in support of California legislation AB 2658 and SB 838—landmark bills that established a legal definition of “blockchain” under California law and enabled the transfer of equity using distributed ledger technology.

6:15 – 7:00 PM | FBI Careers & Networking

Learn about career opportunities with the FBI and connect with professionals, students, and fellow fraud-fighting enthusiasts. This session provides an opportunity to ask questions, build connections, and explore pathways into fraud examination, investigations, financial crimes, cybersecurity, and law enforcement.

CPE

The program is designed for up to 3.0 CPE credits, based on 50 minutes of qualifying educational activity per CPE credit. Final CPE eligibility is subject to applicable CPE requirements and attendance documentation.

Parking & Refreshments

Parking: Guests are encouraged to park on the second floor of the North Garage, which is available for event guests.

Refreshments will be provided.
