This hands-on Crypto 101 Bootcamp for Investigators is tailored for those working in fraud investigations, forensic accounting, and related fields who are looking to expand their investigative skill set in an increasingly digital financial landscape. Kamal is the founder, director, and advisor to multiple blockchain initiatives, including the AltMarket Cryptocurrency Exchange and CageChain Media Group. He has testified on cryptocurrency matters before the California Senate Banking Committee and served as a member of the Blockchain Advocacy Coalition in support of California legislation AB 2658 and SB 838—landmark bills that established a legal definition of “blockchain” under California law and enabled the transfer of equity using distributed ledger technology.
In addition, Kamal has participated in policy discussions with the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of the Comptroller of the Currency on issues at the intersection of cryptocurrency, regulation, and banking.
